The Marble Rye Patty Melt was fantastic, added grilled jalapeños and bacon. Cheeses sticks were extremely cheesy and tasty and then the onion rings and fries cooked perfectly. Best burgers in town, in my opinion!

Turtleman’s makes a fantastic smash burger. Definitely worth the short drive out to Potosi for lunch. The food was fresh and hot. Fresh tasty buns for the burgers and more French fries than one can eat. The onion rings were top notch also. Can’t wait to try the mozzarella sticks on the menu. They looks great.

The delivered exactly what we were looking for in a great burger. I just wish the wouldn't have forgotten to put the mayo on them. Menu says they have drive through pickup available, but they told us to come in. The young man at the register told me they don't use the window, and a car has parked blocking access to it. We do prefer drive-though pick-up as my spouse can't walk in. Overall though, I'd say we will be back. The cheese sticks are huge! We had already eaten one before I took a photo.

I have been trying all of the burger places in Abilene when I come to town & this one is now in my top 3. I got the Swiss melt with extra crispy bacon, which was a great pick. The burger was a smash burger with crispy edges, seasoned & cooked to perfection. The Bun was soft & delicious. The bacon was was crisp & flavorful, I would love to know what type of bacon they use, because it would be the only brand I'd ever buy. The service was excellent, the young man behind the counter was fun with a great sense of humor & helpful. I will definitely be back.

By far the best burger I've had in Abilene. Since I know how to make a decent smash burger. I don't usually order burgers outside, but this place will definitely be an exception. You can clearly tell the meat is fresh, the french fries are likely made by cutting potatoes, fresh in the store. Service is fast and efficient and the place is actually nice to sit down and eat. There's nothing lacking in this place. I would highly recommend going here. Another advantage, there are no waiters, and they don't ask for tips to check out, you can give only if you want to. Definitely a welcome business model in a horrible tipping culture.

Turtleman’s is a great addition to Potosi! The food was incredible, though the buns were a bit thick and dry for the thin smash burger style patties. Service was excellent, with staff checking on us often. The prices are very reasonable also. The table layout could be improved; a center rail forces tables close together, making it feel like you’re sitting with strangers. This setup is less of an issue during slower times but can detract from the experience when it’s busy if you don’t enjoy sitting with people you don’t know.

It was my second visit, and they are still one of my favorite places near Abilene! I got a bunless Cheeseburger with Pepperjack Cheese and my friend got a Chicken sandwich. The chicken wasn't completely done, and we let them know. Not only did they redo it, but they also comped it! They know how to give great customer service! We will definitely be coming back when we are in the area!

We heard about this place, do we decided too stop in! Atmosphere was friendly and spacious. Food was flavorful but did need a little extra salt. Mozzarella sticks were the best part, yummy and so cheesy! Coke products on fountain. And their cute little free toy turtles were a hit! Certainly stopping in again.
